The Shiv sets his sights

The Shiv grabs a cameraman and pulls him into a side hallway in the back stage area. The Shiv is dressed in a simple grey t-shirt and khaki pants. He stares intensely into the camera lens.

“Are you rolling? Good!…” The Shiv rolls his neck and breathes in deeply.

“It’s time. I have been biding my time. I have let myself be distracted by minor things that don’t really affect me. But no more. It is time. I look at my time here and see wasted opportunity. I see myself in tag matches and being dragged into old issues with old nemeses. No more. It is time to move on to bigger and better things. It is time to share my vision with others. Tyr Ellis…it is your time. Soon….very soon…we will meet in that ring and I will take the Pure title from around your waist. But don’t worry, I will make it quick, although there will be, regretfully for you, a great deal of pain.

The Shiv then turns and walks away, leaving the cameraman standing alone in the hallway.
